ʜᴏᴍᴇ**.**

• born and raised in dandelion
• had a sizeable family of four. his mother and father were your average family, loving, though a bit hard on their children. specifically sehun's older brother, who was being pushed to get out of dandelion and get a "meaningful" job.
• sehun, however, felt less of that pressure from his family. while his brother stressed over getting anything lower than a 90%, sehun's 70% was celebrated as out of the ordinary. his parents didn't mind if he stayed home from school or went, or what his extra-curricular activities were. sehun had one, basketball, compared to his brother's of three, soccer, basketball, and band.
• he didn't this though. why would he? he was happy, comfortable, had a good group of friends and got good enough grades for him to get out of dandelion. he worked part-time alongside his brother in his last few years of high school in his grandmother's pet shop, and would take over more shifts as his brother went to the military and then to university in seoul.
• sehun really liked working at the pet shop, but when it was his time to graduate, sehun went straight to university. it was the first of his bad ideas. all of his friends that were going to go with him in seoul to university were waiting an extra year to enlist, so sehun went alone.

ʜᴏᴍᴇ, ᴍᴀʏʙᴇ**.**

• sehun stayed with a few other boys in an apartment in seoul. there was much to be desired, most of his parent's money went into paying for his brother's tuition and his own place in america when he travelled to further his studies to become a doctor. sehun didn't mind, he saw his parents often, and sometimes had trouble letting them go.
• he didn't have a major at first in university. his interests were everywhere, from art history to music theory to psychology to political science. he loved all of these subjects, but had trouble picking one to really fall into.
• he did okay in school, but the transition from the laidback education system in dandelion left him confused and struggling to keep up with his peers who he deemed better and more deserving to be there. assignments on extension became late assignments became missing assignments. 5 classes with a 50% turned into 3 classes with a 30%. sehun was asked to apply again in the fall, but sehun never returned.
• sehun went back to dandelion. his deep feeling of homesickness and wish to cling to his mother's embrace and father's gentle smile made him want never to leave. but he hated dandelion. he wanted to do more with his life than sit in his grandmother's pet shop trying to explain people that a grain-free dog food diet wasn't unhealthy for their pet. he wanted more, but what?

ʜᴏᴍᴇ (ᴀɢᴀɪɴ).

• sehun ended up enlisting a year after he returned to dandelion, but all of his friends were no longer in the small town and none of them were in the same camps as him. he felt alone. he didn't keep in contact with them after failing university, too ashamed to speak to them again.
• he's back in dandelion, and has been there for the last three years. he is lost and alone, not sure what to do with his life and silently counting down the days until he turns 30 and will have to leave his parents' house. not that he wants to, but you can't be 30 and still living in the same room as your parents with a part-time job and have only had two failed relationships back when you felt like you had to perform for the people looking your way?
• his grandmother is kind to him and lets sehun work as much as he needs to. he is basically a full-time worker there and a manager. it's not bad pay, but sehun can't do much with the money when it sits in his bank account ready to be spent either on a frivolous whim or when sehun finds a place in dandelion to live in.
• sehun doesn't speak to his brother very much. his brother is still in school in america, and will be for another few years. the difference in how their parents treated them had put a divide between the two boys, one who feels overwhelmed and jealous of sehun, and sehun who feels like he can never live up to the standard. when the two do meet, it is awkward and stilted, both boys wanted nothing more than to be the other.

ʜᴏᴍᴇ?

• sehun feels more lost than ever, haunted by the ghost of his parent's expectations and of himself. he can't keep a job outside of the one his grandmother gave him at 15, he can't keep his focus on a single relationship and has completely given up on ever finding someone to love, has no friends aside from the family dog and whenever his grandmother visits him. he doesn't want to tell anyone of his true feelings, worried they will call him lazy. because if sehun is called lazy by others, is he truly?
• phrases and words like "end" and "stop" and "i don't know what im doing anymore" and "i don't know if i belong here anymore" circle around sehun's head every day. he keeps the same smile for the customers as he does his family, deeply worried he will run into one of his old friends or someone he knew back in high school. sehun seemed like he could achieve so much at 17, but here he is, 28 and wearing the same sweaters from last week.
• he wants to leave dandelion but he also can't see himself anywhere but. what is the word for someone who wants to be somewhere else but at the place at the same time?

i tend to get a little carried away with writing so my replies might be a little long. i like to reply in 3rd pov paragraph style and only do script in chat. i might write a lot but you don’t have to mirror the length, but some effort should be applied to the reply, of course. i am more than happy to do starters, especially if i have a good idea on how to start, but please don’t expect me to do it every time, especially if it doesn’t make sense for me to start

as for plotting, i would prefer if you came to me with a plot in mind, and i will try and do the same. plotting is usually not too hard for me to do, but sometimes i can get quite stumped. winging is fine, but i am still quite new to it so it can blind-side me a bit ghjfd.

with genres, i’m very flexible, i don’t mind plotting out fluff, angst, even romance, but i will not plot out a pwp smut plot with you. if our non-pwp plot has smut in it, i will ask you to skip over the scene or speak about it in passing. i am uncomfortable to smut with people i have never done a smut plot before with or someone i don’t know well. if we have smutted before or our characters are dating, i will be okay with it.

i don’t really mind where our threads are, walls, pms, or rooms. i would prefer rooms just to keep the rp active and getting us both some points, but i really don’t mind wherever.

sehun is a closed-off and dry man to those who don't know his "work" persona. he doesn't make many friends and doesn't talk to many people outside of work. he will speak to co-workers but only about plain things that no one really cares about.

if you do get to know him, he's very kind and sincere, but he has trouble showing these emotions. his way of showing you he cares about you lies in gestures rather than words. if he does show you he cares through words, it will be indirect. it is never an "i love you" from him, but rather; "what did you eat today?".

he is very creative. he typically sees things or thinks of things that others don't. he can usually focus on the things he enjoys and can do them for long hours on end without the need to stop. he is very good at his favourite video games to the point of being approached to join expert competitions. while he doesn't like to exercise very much, he likes to run and has pretty good stamina and agility.

other than video games, sehun likes to do a lot of things, too many things. he especially likes graphic design and 3d modelling. recently he has been dabbling in writing his own video game, an rpg about a man named VENTUS. it isn't going anywhere so far, but he plays around with it in his spare time.

he likes to go for runs and he likes to walk his dog. he knows a lot about dogs and about other animals that are common in dandelion. his mother's family owns a horse ranch in dandelion that sehun had been going to since a kid, so he has knowledge in that.

sehun's goal is to have a goal. in his time of uncertainty and confusion, sehun wants to zero his skills into one thing and use it to get a job, but he isn't sure what job in particular he wants or what skill he wants to focus on. he will choose to focus on one, but will change it in a matter of a month or week.

he is very indecisive. he would say his biggest flaw is that he doesn't know what to do and that he is spread too thin. you might say his biggest flaw is that he doesn't believe in himself enough. he is aimless by his own doing.

his biggest fear is becoming a burden to his family. he already feels this way, that he is a burden to them and feels that he can see it in their eyes when they look at him. he is afraid of doing something and regretting it. he is afraid of disappointing his friends and family.
